I love Altrusa because of the focus on the PEOPLE we serve in our community. It is not about things or what we are doing, it is about the PEOPLE we are helping.

Because of my club members and because we reach so many people in the projects we choose to work with.

Both my mother and my aunt were Soroptimists, but they never reached out to me. Altrusa did and, as a writer, I definitely approved of their mission to bring literacy to everyone.
